Dr. Michael Liberti has been in private practice for over 30 years, the last 18 years at Bethel Station Chiropractic. He is a graduate of Boston College with a degree in Biology. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Chiropractic School in Minnesota. He also completed a Post-Doctoral program in neurology at Logan College of Chiropractic in Missouri in 1992. Dr. Liberti was admitted to the American Board of Chiropractic Neurology as a Diplomate in 1993.
Over his many years in practice, Dr. Liberti has attended countless hours of continuing education and over the last 7 years has focused much of his continuing education on the use of low level laser therapy for the treatment of many common spine and joint conditions. He has also spent considerable time studying the benefits of nutritional therapies for both musculoskeletal problems as well as general health and wellness.
After practicing for 15 years in his home town of Saugus MA. Dr. Liberti moved with his family to the Bethel area in 1998 to pursue their passion to ski and enjoy all the area has to offer while taking over the Chiropractic practice in Bethel.
Over the past 18 years Dr. Liberti has been active in the Bethel community. He has been a member of the both the Bethel Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce at various times and has been involved in running a number of charity fundraisers for the community.
In his spare time, in addition to skiing, Dr. Liberti can be found biking, hiking and enjoying the outdoors with his wife of 36 years, Christine. Dr. Liberti and his wife have 2 adult sons and 3 beautiful granddaughters.
His hobbies include travel, exercise, reading and he has been trying to become a better cook!
Kim Tibbetts is a receptionist at Bethel Station Chiropractic since April of 2016. Bethel Station Chiropractic was her first experience working in an office setting. She quickly grew to enjoy the atmosphere at BSCO. Since starting she has learned the ChiroTouch system. Scheduling, entering patient information, payments and greeting patients are all part of her day. She is enrolled in the upcoming Maine Chiropractic Assistant program, and eagerly awaiting her certification. Kim was born and raised in Bethel, and is also raising her son here. She enjoys cheering her son on at all of his sporting events, and skiing and riding with friends and family at Sunday River.
Jo-Ann Korhonen is a part time Receptionist of Bethel Station Chiropractic. She has been with the office since 2016. Jo-Ann recently attended Treat your Feet School of Reflexology and is currently working on her apprenticeship. Jo-Ann grew up in the Oxford Hills area and has lived in Bethel for 30 years with her husband and loves spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Christine Liberti has been practicing yoga for more than 25 years and completed her instructors certification over 10 years ago.
She has been a visiting yoga instructor at spas and resorts in the US and a number of other countries.
She works with both new and advanced participants providing important stretching, flexibility and strengthening instruction in both individual and group classes. When not teaching Christine enjoys bike riding, skiing, traveling as well as visiting with her 3 young granddaughters.
